Terms of service

The ITIN-by-mail service (new or renewal) costs $249 total, with both passport shipments and the tax return included. It is paid in two parts: $99 now and $150 after the video interview, together with sending the package to the IRS.
My passport is never mailed to the IRS. It travels with tracking and required signature both ways, and it is returned to me within 24 hours of the interview, no matter what — even if a payment is pending. I understand mail carriers do not insure passports; what is guaranteed is tracking, signature and return.
Refunds: if I cancel before my shipping label is sent, $49 is refunded (the remaining $50 covers the consultation already provided). Once the label is sent or my passport is in transit, the first payment is not refunded because it covers the shipping — but my passport still comes back. With the package already sent to the IRS, the service has been provided and there is no refund.
Whatever my tax return comes out to — a refund or a balance due to the IRS — is not up to Right Step and does not change the price of this service. IRS processing times (typically 7 to 11 weeks) are not up to Right Step either.
The accuracy of the filing depends on the information and documents I provide being complete and truthful. I authorize Right Step to contact me by phone, text message or WhatsApp about my case, and I confirm I have read the Privacy Policy.

Nothing is paid here yet: the invoice arrives by email after this step. Never type card numbers or paste document photos into this form.
