Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026.

At Right Step LLC (“Right Step”, “we”) we take the privacy of your information seriously — especially your tax and financial data. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

  • What you give us directly: your name, contact details (phone, email), and the documents we need to provide the service (identification, ITIN/SSN, W-2s, 1099s, information about your business, and so on).
  • From the website: basic browsing data (technical cookies) so the site works, and aggregate usage data to understand which pages are visited and how people find us (see section 7). This site does not sell your information.

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the services you request (preparing your taxes, keeping your books, forming your LLC, filing your ITIN, arranging insurance or credit services), to communicate with you, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only when the service requires it or the law demands it: with authorities such as the IRS or the State of Texas to submit your filings; and with providers that help us operate (for example, accounting software or insurance carriers), under confidentiality obligations. Tax information is handled under the confidentiality rules that apply to tax preparers.

4. How we protect it

We apply reasonable safeguards — physical, administrative and electronic — to protect your information. As IRS Certified Acceptance Agents, we verify and certify your identity ourselves for your ITIN, so your passport is never mailed to the IRS: you bring it to our office, or it travels to us with tracking and required signature and ships back to you.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to the retention periods the law requires (for example, tax record-keeping rules). Write to us to exercise these rights.

6. WhatsApp and communications

If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we use that information only to respond and follow up with you. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

7. Cookies and site analytics

We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how this site is used: which pages get visited, where people come from, and which content is useful. It helps us improve the site, not identify you: it is aggregate usage data — never your tax information or the documents you give us, which stay inside the service channels.

We do not run advertising or remarketing on this data. Advertising and ad-personalization cookies are disabled on this site, and we do not sell or share your information with advertisers.

If you would rather your visit not be recorded, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, turn on your browser’s tracking protection, or use any blocking extension. The site works just as well with analytics off: nothing you need in order to contact us depends on it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is the one published on this page.
